Service Committees
There are multiple ways to get involved and serve the fellowship in OIAA. Explore each of our standing committees below.
The 12 Step (Steppers) Committee is an integral part of OIAA’s worldwide outreach. Steppers assist alcoholics and others who are reaching out for help via the internet.
Information is necessary to carry the message. The Communications Committee provides information about OIAA.
The 2025 International Conventions Committee plans the Intergroup’s in person presence at the 2025 International AA Convention Hospitality Cyber Suite.
The Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC) Committee shares the AA message with members of the professional community who have contact with alcoholics.
Ensure donations by OIAA members are utilized responsibly so support of the recovering alcoholic can continue and the A.A. message can be carried to the alcoholic still suffering.
The Policy & Admissions Committee (PAC) assists new groups in registering to list A.A. meetings/groups on the OIAA meeting directory.
The Public Information Committee’s primary purpose is to carry the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
The Technology Committee’s primary purpose is to provide, support, maintain, secure, and enhance essential Information Technology needs.
Unity Committee Mission & Purpose: to encourage the exchange of online A.A. group experiences among the vast online A.A. group community.
