General Responsibilities
Agenda-Board, Combined Board & Committee Chair (CBC) Meeting, Assemblies; rules on procedures; unofficial non-voting member of all committees.
Ensure we follow “fiduciary” legal and 36 spiritual principles of the organization. Pass it on!
General Activities since 15 June 2023
Conducted approximately 39 board related meetings, since 9 May 2023
Conducted 8 Combine Board & Committee Meetings (CBC) establishing Format
and Quarterly Reporting (per bylaws)
Conducted 7 assemblies
- June 23-Allowed Membership to Respond to Chair’s Resignation
- July 23- Unbudgeted fund requests; amended bylaws to eliminate Finance Chair as board position.
- 23-Established 2 new board positions: Trustee at Large and International Trustee
- 23-Elected 5 officers, passed 2024 budget
- March 24-Passed OIAA Guidelines; elevated Communications to standing committee
- June 24-1st internal Financial Review; 1st Annual Committees’ Report to Membership (per bylaws)
- September 21-Annual Board Report to Assembly; unbudgeted funds request for Online International Convention
Chaired & then participated in Ad Hoc Guidelines Committee
Feb 2023-30 September 2023; participated in 3 Membership Guidelines Presentations-Feb, March 2024, (passed in March 2024 Assembly)
Created Board Ad Hoc Committee to develop a Board Inventory
Participated In Board Inventory Process-4 2-hour meetings with facilitators (2 Past Trustees from the US/Canada General Service Structure), June-July 2024, informed membership, chair’s report 1 September 24
