Update For 12-steppers – Nov 2024

This month, we had many positive comments as usual. These often are great reminders of what it was like before we got sober as well as how much is at risk. Thanks to all the Steppers who sent them in and please, anytime you get a good comment from a caller, please call them out to us:

I am committed to doing the work, reading all the resources, and most importantly, putting them into practice. I wish you the best of luck on your ongoing journey, and please know that you’ve made a huge positive impact on another fellow alcoholic.

 – Thank you very much sir. I’ve took this decision on my own and I want to start embarking on this journey.

– Thank you for your words and the meetings I honestly don’t know what I would do without them.

-Thanks a lot for reaching out. Very grateful that you reached out. I’m already an AA member and currently I’m 7 months into sobriety and wanted to explore the meetings outside my city. Thank you for sending me the link for finding the meetings.

-I really hope you’re not a robot. Im at point where I find myself drinking just to not deal with stuff and it’s gonna make me lose everything. Drinking is not fun anymore if it ever was I’m on the verge of losing my daughter. If I don’t freaking change, I don’t want to do anymore. I will start going to more meetings I did attend one that I had to leave because it was just not a good fit for me but a few of the others were great. sadly I didnt write down the name of the group or the times and days they met…  thanks for the help though.  I do have one questio9n. when I start in a new meeting do I say My name is Nick I am an alcoholic and I am new to AA?  I mean that simply?  thanks
